Claims Support

When you have a claim, you'll hear about it first (not last).

Most dealers learn a claim was denied from an upset customer. Our process keeps partners informed and never caught off guard.

Why claims matter to your dealership

When a customer's car has a problem, they don't blame the warranty company. They blame the dealership that sold it to them.

That's what makes the usual claims process so frustrating. The administrator makes a decision, the customer hears about it, and the dealer is often the last to know. By the time you get the call, the relationship is already strained.

We think you deserve better than that.

Compare how claims are handled at your dealership vs a DAG partner dealership:

At your dealership-

1

You sell an F&I product

2

The customer has an issue and typically files a claim at a competing dealership

3

If there's an issue, the customer generally calls who sold them the product.

At this point, you were the last to know there was an issue. And by now, the customer is upset and could have already posted a review online. Plus, even if you resolve the issue, the customer may still cancel their F&I product, resulting in a chargeback.

What if there was a better way?

If you are a DAG partner dealership:

1

You sell an F&I product

2

The customer has an issue...but we promote a 40-mile tieback: If the customer is at a competing dealership, you will be contacted as the original selling dealer with the option of moving the customer back to your dealership for the repair.

3

Either way, before a claim decision has been made, the DAG team and you have been asked what you'd like to do: Have the claim approved or, if it is denied, you'll have authority to override that decision directly from a text or email message (your choice).

Now, you were the first to know if there was a potential issue. And you can resolve it before the issue becomes a problem. More control, a better experience for your customers, and a lower chargeback rate.

Which would you prefer?

How do we do it?

DAG is the largest agency in the country for most of their providers. That gives us the leverage to require our F&I product administrators to give the claims authority to the original selling dealer, not the administrator. A true partnership between DAG, the administrator, and the selling dealer.

A true DAG exclusive.

The relationship behind it

Over the years, DAG has built strong working relationships with the administrators behind the products our partners sell. That's what gives us a direct line when your customer needs one, and it's why we can support you through a claim instead of just handing you a phone number.

“ Shawn and the entire DAG team truly live up to being dealer advocates. They don't just provide a product, they stand beside you as a partner.
Travis AldermanOwner, Alderman Automotive
“ They're always searching for ways to make us better, with low fees and complete transparency. In an era of tight margins, Shawn's products give us an avenue to profitability.
Terry CullenOwner, Terry Cullen Southlake Chevrolet
“ Shawn's team picks up the phone and gets back to you within minutes. They protect the dealer's portfolio while taking care of the customer's needs, that's good decision-making as a partner.
